We're committed to meeting children's needs and letting them know they're important to us!
At Youth Haven, ministry never stops! Our methods may need to change at times, but our mission remains the same: to provide life-changing, Christ-centered experiences for disadvantaged children. That's why we launched a brand new initiative for the summer of 2020: a virtual camp experience!

Our theme for our virtual camp was "Spy Academy." Children between the ages of 7 and 13 who needed some encouragement in their lives were invited to join an elite group of recruits for our online Spy Academy. These recruits received a spy kit filled with all the supplies they needed to complete a fun week of spy training online and in their homes. As often as possible, our staff delivered the spy kits in person, and Harvey and his friends even went along!
Activities included awesome nature challenges, outdoor activities, creative crafts, important investigations, and more! Recruits were able to watch exciting livestreams and videos from Youth Haven's campuses and interact with our staff throughout the week. Children who participated could earn prizes by completing the different activities, watching the livestreams, and joining us for Zoom calls. Through it all, they learned the important truths that God is trustworthy, God is loving, and God is all-powerful.
Sharing God's Love with Kids!
"This was so engaging, well organized, fun, and such a cool way to share God’s love with these kids!! Thank you again! We just loved it and hope to enjoy other Youth Haven activities!!"

Virtual camp allowed us to stay connected and continue to encourage the children who have been involved in our programs. It also gave us the ability to share God's love with kids who might not be able to attend our on-site programs for some reason.

Kids can still watch the Spy Academy videos and do the corresponding activities on our kids' website!
"Very thankful for this timely opportunity for our grandson. It helped him through the difficult time of his dad leaving the family. I really like how the love of God was shared!"
