With almost 400 acres and 30 year-round buildings in Michigan and around 80 acres with 12 buildings in Arizona, maintaining the facilities is quite a large task. Volunteers help with so many things including raking, mowing, trash pick-up, building maintenance, and much, much more!
We welcome anyone of any age! Many of our volunteers come from Sunday School classes, service groups, churches, families, and individuals with a desire to serve.
Dedicated volunteers help make it possible for us to assemble and mail out our regular newsletter updates. In addition, various construction projects present a definite need for willing individuals to chip in. Volunteers bringing their trade skills to Youth Haven are invaluable. We also hold several annual special events throughout the year, when we open the Ranch grounds to our community. We plan special activities for them to enjoy and invite them to come learn more about our outreach to disadvantaged children. The extra hands of volunteers help make these days go smoothly. Pre-arranged short-term RV parking is available for our volunteers.
