Help Give a Child in Need a Merry Christmas!
Each year, Youth Haven partners with Family Life Radio to conduct a toy drive for the disadvantaged boys and girls who attend one of our Ranches during the holiday season. For many of these children, the gifts they receive at Youth Haven will be the only gifts they receive this year.
Hundreds of individuals and churches participate in collecting new toys and gifts for needy children. Many individuals enjoy taking their families shopping, then bringing the gifts to Youth Haven to visit the grounds.
We hope you'll be able to deliver your toys to the Youth Haven office, either in Michigan or in Arizona, so that we can thank you in person for your generosity. However, if you are not able to drive to one of our campuses, we will be adding a list of additional drop-off locations soon.
Many churches also collect toys, and a Youth Haven staff member is often available to attend a church service and share more about the Youth Haven outreach with the congregation. If your church is interested in collecting toys for the Ranch and would like one of our staff members to pick up the toys, please contact us to make arrangements.
If you would like to be a part of the toy drive this Christmas, here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Toys collected are given to the needy and deserving children that come to Youth Haven. We are thrilled to give them these toys, but this is only a small portion of what we do for them while they are here. Along with the toy you donate, we ask you to prayerfully consider making a financial contribution to help sponsor the child who will receive that toy. - Please make sure any toys you donate are for children ages 7-13.
- Please bring your gifts unwrapped.
- New toys only, please.
- Please include your name and address with your donations. As our way of thanking you for your generosity, we photograph the children with the toys they receive. If we have your name and address, we will be able to send you a photograph of the specific child who received the toy you donated. This photo serves as a reminder of the impact you have had on a special child’s life.
