Everyone wants to leave a legacy - a lasting imprint on the lives of others that will continue on for generations to come. Through memorial giving, you can honor the memory of a loved one and help ensure that legacy by positively impacting the life of a deserving child.
Every memorial gift given to Youth Haven will be used to:
- Honor the memory of your loved one
- Share hope with thousands of children residing locally
- Provide warm meals to fill hungry stomachs
- Give a toothbrush, toothpaste, washcloth, soap, and a comb to each child at Youth Haven
- Provide winter hats, gloves, and boots to children in need during the cold season
- Clothe less fortunate children who don't have adequate clothing
- Reinforce positive values and the importance of treating others with love and respect
- Teach the value of teamwork
- Show love and compassion to children who have previously felt that no one cares about them
- Allow children to experience fun activities like swimming, riding the zipline, singing in chapel, riding bikes, interacting with animals at the petting farm, observing outer space, and much more!
Memorial gifts are acknowledged with a letter of thanks and a tax receipt issued to the person making the contribution. We are also pleased to send a letter of acknowledgement to the family of the person in whose memory the gift is given, as indicated by the contributor.
