Thanksgiving at Youth Haven

Thanksgiving weekend is an especially exciting time at Youth Haven! Many of the children who come to Youth Haven will not have a special Thanksgiving celebration at home. That's why we make every effort to help them feel special while they are with us.

Thanksgiving activities include:

• A delicious Thanksgiving turkey dinner with all the trimmings, served banquet-style to the children by volunteers and staff
• Exciting fall on-site programming
• Warm beds and shelter from the cold temperatures
• Special lessons about God's love and provision
• Scripture memory verses emphasizing giving thanks
• Bibles: each child receives a copy of the New Testament to take home
